We hired Wayne to install a water heater (replacing the existing electric one with a tankless system using natural gas), replace our HVAC furnace, and convert our existing ductwork into a dual‑zone system. Wayne exhibited a lot of patience with us, explaining everything clearly and making sure we knew what to expect. He always showed up on time, and completed the job with great attention to detail. Wayne even came out on New Year’s Eve and again on New Year’s Day to make sure we had heat and that everything was running exactly as it should. The dual‑zone setup has already made a huge difference in comfort and efficiency. Truly above‑and‑beyond service — we’d gladly work with him again!

This is the best HVAC company I have ever worked with. Wayne called immediately after I sought help through Angi. He gave me a reasonable quote for the worst case scenario but wanted to see if a less costly repair would be possible first. He came out and checked the furnace at no additional cost. He honored the quote given for replacement, scheduled a day and time, came to do the work on time and it was completed within the time frame stated. Later he promptly responded to follow-up questions regarding warranties. I have already recommended him to several friends. Very honest, professional and dependable.

This company and Wayne, in particular, helped me out of a very bad situation. My brother is handicapped and with severe financial limitations; his gas furnace failed on the first cold spell of 2025. Wayne showed sincere concern for this problem and promptly visited on November 11; he quickly found the issue and got the system operating for only the cost of the visit. He did warn me that the system could fail again at anytime, but assured me that they would come out again and evaluate possible longer term solutions. I could not be more pleased with this company and the very prompt response to a heating issue during very cold weather. I would give this company (and Wayne) the highest rating possible for their outstanding work and their understanding of the serious situation for my brother. I would highly recommend them for any work that is listed under their qualifications.

I had a very odd issue arise with a brand new window unit and had done tons of online research and had spoken with probably 5 people/AC technicians and couldn’t find anything useful. I eventually called American Mechanical and spoke with Wayne and while we aren't 100% sure if we figured out the issue he was the only person who was helpful, helped me brainstorm, and answered all questions with the best advice. He was incredibly nice, helpful, and had a very good response/call time. I would 100% recommend doing business with him:)

Our A.C went out of course on a Friday night. Wayne was quick to answer the phone, polite, and knowledgeable. He talked me through somethings and provided an affordable quote. He promptly showed up and right away I knew that he knew what he was doing and talking about. Even though it was already late on a Friday night he was kind enough to go out and secure the replacement part that was needed and returned to quickly fix the air.
